Biennial Review
The Blinn College District is dedicated to providing a safe, healthy environment for students, employees, and visitors. This includes ensuring that Blinn is a drug- and alcohol-free zone. Blinn informs the campus community about its policies on alcohol and drug use and offers resources for help in accordance with federal law.
Students and employees are encouraged to read and understand information about the Blinn College District’s drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs (DAAPP) and their compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations (34 CFR Part 86) and the U.S. Department of Education’s Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendment of 1989 (Public Law 101-226).
The law also required institutions of higher education to produce a biennial review of their drug and alcohol abuse prevention program (DAAPP). The reports below review Blinn College District’s DAAPP for the periods including Fiscal Years 2016-17 and 2017-18, Fiscal Years 2018-19 and 2019-20, FY2020-21 and FY2021-22.
